Shaula is an important character from Re:ZERO‑Starting Life in Another World‑, created by the Sage Flugel and the Witch Daphne four hundred years ago. As Flugel’s loyal apprentice, she took part in sealing Satella, the Witch of Envy, and was ordered to guard the Pleiades Watchtower alone afterwards, enduring centuries of endless loneliness while waiting for her master’s return. She suffers from face blindness and identifies people mainly by smell, so she mistakes Natsuki Subaru for her teacher because of his special witch‑related scent. Energetic, devoted and emotionally unstable, she holds tremendous power and can transform into a giant scorpion in battle. She fires deadly light arrows to defend the tower before Subaru’s group arrives. Though she behaves like an over‑enthusiastic follower toward Subaru, deep inside lies the sadness of long‑term isolation. Her story shows the pain brought by endless waiting and blind loyalty, making her one of the most memorable figures in the sixth story arc of the series.
