Indix/Index

Indix is the heroine of the light novel "A Certain Magical Index," a nun from the British Puritan Church of Essential Evil. Her official name is Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum, also known as the Index of Prohibited Books. She looked about fourteen or fifteen, with long silver hair and green eyes, snow-white skin, petite like a child, and wore a white embroidered monastic robe called the Mobile Church. Indix possesses complete memory ability, with her brain storing 103,000 grimoires. Known as the humanoid grimoire library, the church used to erase her memories annually to prevent memory overload. Later, Touma Kamijou released her shackles and she lived in his dormitory. She is intelligent and skilled in language learning, but clueless about modern technology and machinery. She is innocent and straightforward, often biting when angry, and is gentle by nature, always worrying about others' safety. She is the core character of the story's magical storyline.
