Shion Sonozaki appears in 'Higurashi When They Cry and is voiced by Itsuki Yukino.' She is Mion Sonozaki's identical twin older sister and a core character in the Mituryu and Memei arcs. She has loose light green long hair and works part-time at the Angel Mort restaurant in Okomiya. She is intelligent and cunning, appears like an elegant young lady but is sensitive and obsessive inside. She secretly loves Satoshi Hojo, whose disappearance is a major emotional trigger for her. As a child, he swapped identities with his sister, and the title of head of the family that belonged to him was taken away. Skilled at disguise and identity swapping to tease others, becomes cold and frenzied when emotionally unstable, and uses stun guns and other torture devices.
