Rena Ryuugu / Rena Ryuugu

Rena Ryugu is the main female character in 'Higurashi When They Cry' and its spin-offs, produced by 07th Expansion. She is the protagonist of the Sin Destruction Arc, voiced by Mai Nakahara. Real name Rena Ryugū. After her parents divorced, she returned to Hinamizawa. To say goodbye to her past, she called herself Reina. At 15, she attended the Hinamizawa branch school and was nicknamed the "Woodcutter Girl." She is gentle and kind, skilled at cooking, and wants to bring cute things home whenever she sees them. She often goes treasure hunting in junkyards, possesses exceptional insight and reasoning skills, and is the only character in the series who self-heals after reaching Hinamizawa Syndrome L5 stage. The character undergoes multiple loops and has very different endings in different chapters, making him one of the core figures driving the story.
