Model Introduction
Tamamo Cross is a Japanese thoroughbred racehorse, born on May 23, 1984, at Niikappu Farm in Niikappu Town, Hokkaido. Its father is C.B. Cross, and its mother is Green Chateau. As a foal, he was nicknamed "Kinno Cross." Due to his thin and slender build and small appetite, few people wanted to buy him. Eventually, art dealer Michio Mino purchased him for 4 to 5 million yen. On March 1, 1987, four-year-old Tamamo Juji made his debut at Hanshin Racecourse, but his results were poor. He then switched to turf tracks before finally starting to win. In 1988, he won consecutive races in races such as the Tenno Sho (Spring Race), Takarazuka Kinen, and Tenno Sho (Autumn), becoming the JRA Sho Horse of the Year. His career record is 18 fights with 9 wins, with total prize money of 491,614,000 yen. Additionally, Tamamo Cross is a character appearing in "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" and its spin-offs. Her prototype is this horse racehorse, who in the story has gray hair and blue eyes, voiced by Naomi Ozora.
