Model Introduction
Villagers are friendly humanoid creatures living in villages in the sandbox game Minecraft. Originally called "Testificates," they officially joined the game in 2012. With their unique trading system, division of labor, and village rhythm, they have become highly interactive NPC characters. A villager's appearance is determined by their class, trade level, and the biome they generate. Different classes wear distinctive outfits, such as farmers wearing straw hats or blacksmiths wearing aprons. Biomes influence the basic color tone of their clothing: villagers in desert villages tend to wear light-colored clothing, while those in coniferous forests prefer darker colors. Villagers have a complete day-and-night schedule: they work and wander around the village during the day, gather around the clock at noon, and return indoors to sleep in the evening. When an attack occurs, they quickly flee the disaster villagers and take refuge in the nearest house to seek shelter. They have a rich career system, currently with 15 different classes. Each class corresponds to a specific workstation block, such as Farmer for Compost Bin, Blacksmith for Blacksmith, Cartographer for Drafting Bench, etc. Unemployed villagers can obtain jobs by binding to workstations, while the Foolish Villagers in Green Plains Robes are special—they cannot work, trade, or respond to bells, but they retain reproductive abilities and cannot be converted to other professions. Trading is the core function of villagers. They use emeralds as the universal currency, with which players can exchange items. Different classes offer exclusive trading content, such as priests selling enchantment books, toolsmiths providing enchantment tools, armor craftsmen trading armor, and more. Trading also raises villagers' trading levels to unlock rarer items. When players obtain the "Village Hero" effect, all villagers receive trade discounts, with the discount amount tied to hero level. When villagers have reproductive ability and meet conditions such as having enough beds and abundant food (such as wheat, carrots, etc.), adult villagers will become juvenile villagers. Youngsters have no jobs but can become unemployed villagers and bind to workstations to obtain jobs. Additionally, villagers may transform into zombie villagers. After being attacked by zombies, there is a chance for them to become infected. Zombie villagers will appear green, wear tattered clothes, lose their trading ability, and attack players. You can use a golden apple combined with a Weakness Potion to heal and restore them to normal villagers. This mechanic provides players with a way to save and restore their villages. In the game, villagers are not only an important source of resources, but their village ecosystem is also something players can explore, modify, and protect. Making good use of villagers' trading systems and class traits can greatly support your survival and development.
