In Delta Force: Hawk Ops, Muland (full name Anaïs De Mullan) is the head of security at the Hafk Group's rocket launch center in the Asara region. She is also a highly intimidating female boss character on the space base map, jokingly called "Old Lady" by players. She was originally a senior manager at Hafk in Asara. Fifteen years ago, she became the sole survivor of an explosion carried out by the Asara Guard. In her final moments, she underwent a brain-computer implant surgery still in the experimental stage. After the operation, her personality changed drastically, becoming extremely supportive of the company, ruthless in her decisions, and suspected of becoming a puppet controlled by the company. She is equipped with a high-precision sniper rifle that can accurately strike targets hundreds of meters away. When locking onto the player, it reflects a dangerous red glow. She is accompanied by two Hafk auto tanks that are immune to conventional bullets, which can fire rockets and poison rounds. Only area-of-effect skills like grenades or electric shocks can destroy her. Muland mainly spawns under the CEO building at the aerospace base or in the ascension area. When players encounter her at the ascension point, they face immense pressure and must use long-range high-magnification scopes to engage in gunfights or flank to find cover. After defeating her, the tank will self-destruct. She is not only a high-difficulty challenge in battle, but also carries the tragic tone and metaphor of technological alienation behind the conflict between Hafk and Asara, serving as a key figure connecting the game's combat and narrative.
