Narita Road (ナリタトップロード/Narita Top Road) is a character appearing in Cygames' cross-media project 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby.' It is based on the Japanese purebred racehorse ナリタtop ロード, born April 4, 1996 at Sasaki Farm in Hokkaido. His sire is Sunday Silence, and his dam is Croupier Lady. He entered the stable of Ritto Oshio Yoshio in 1998, with jockey Kaoruhiko Watanabe. Over his career, he has raced 17 and won 9 , including the 1999 Kikuka Sho (GI) and six graded races, with a total prize money of 596.8 million yen. He passed away from heart failure on the day of retirement in 2003 at just 9 years old; voiced by Kanna Nakamura in the game, he is set as blonde with purple-gold gradient eyes, 166cm tall, Aries, a high school student at the Ritto dormitory, a cheerful and hardworking athlete full of sportsmanship, claiming to "give his all to meet expectations," with beast-eared ponytails, highlighted star-colored hair accessories, and the image of class president in long boots.
